Squeaky Dog gets the Grease

My dog keeps whining, he sounds like an exercise bike.

Well, this weekend was interesting. On Thursday night I was invited to go see the midnight show of Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D. I hung out for a few hours with , , , and . I had fun even though I've seen the movie a bajillion times (though not in 3D) but I still owe Pete $12 for the ticket (sorry dude, I ran off before paying...)

I must say that I felt a little bit out of place, hanging with such talented artistes XD I did have fun though, I rarely get out much so it was a nice change of pace. I know I'm a pain in the butt about being solitary and crap (oh I am so lonely, but don't dare call me because I prefer my solitude!!), so it was nice of them to invite me.

Man I am hungry. Today I've eaten nothing but caramels and KitKat bars. Plus I am in dire need of a new book, there's only so many times I can read Clan of the Cave Bear....

Good news too! David may be coming to visit me within a week or two. That makes me happy ^^

Plus I finally got around to posting a pic of Zola, my fave gorgon. Vectaar arts are on the way also!

Dire need of a new book you say? I recently rediscovered libraries. My last card expired over 4 years ago, and I never bothered to renew it because the Internet seemed so much superior to books. But I'd forgotten how awesome libraries are!! There's so much free reading material, and it's not full of "omfg l33t hax0rz, d3wd!"

Unfortunately I cannot join a library :( Inverness does not have a public library, and to join Barrington or Palatine library I need to pay a few hundred bucks a year...because property taxes pay for the libraries, I'd have to pay "my share" or property tax or some shiat. Either way it's a base rate of $200 plus a percentage depending on where you live...per year.

I used to just use friends' cards but now they're photo IDs XD

It's not so bad though, as soon as I move out I'll join a library, definitely :)

Strange monsters have been seen in the Barrier Peaks? That sounds boring. We continue on to the south.

Out of place? Despite being alot of fun to hang out with, you seem to have a limp grasp of social dynamics.

Expect to be bothered in the future =D

That sounds fun. As long as there are no "cons" involved...and lots of Star Trek.

Hehe, so what was hanging out with me and the others at the concert? Not note worthy enough I guess :3 I still need to see that in 3D...I've only ever seen it once a while ago XDDDD I'm such a noob

Oh, it was noteworthy...I wouldn't have written about it at all though except that I needed to get that depressing journal off of my frontpage XD

You should definitely check it out, it was awesome in 3D ^^

Wow, that SUCKS! I especially feel sorry for the children in your area! Rates of $200 are a huge disservice to the larger community. :|

Like Evil Dead 2, I have seen Nightmare before Christmas a few centuries worth of viewing, but everytime was still a charm. Plus, I felt like I was right in the midst of Halloween Town's town meeting, making decision like a bat for a hat instead of a rat XDD

yay libraries! they're a great place to leech internet too. awww man get tired of those classic bsb books?
