Yes! One N looks just...unfinished to me! "Jen"...nah.

It's funny, *CelloQuest left a comment right after yours saying that she was a Jenn with two Ns too!

Oh my gosh, that was SO helpful to me. I've been using Photoshop for about a year now, but I just recently bought illustrator, thinking I needed it to for one of my classes. Well, I don't, but I still think the things I see that were done in illustrator are pretty dang awesome, so I've been wanting to learn. I have that classroom in a book for it, but it's kinda hard to teach yourself out of a book. Anyway, enough blab! This is a really good tutorial. Although I don't have Illustrator on this computer to follow along as I read it, it still made a lot of sense to me, especially since I already know Photoshop.

My only suggestion would be to make a printable version of this tutorial! (That way when I print it, my printer doesn't cut it off halfway through one of the graphics. heh! ^^;)

Awesome. Thanks for your help!

You know what? That's a good idea.

I was thinking about making it printable for my own personal use, but hmmm. Good idea....

Maybe, when all of the tutorials are done, I'll make a PDF of the whole thing!

Oh dear Jesus. You like totally described me in the introduction. OMG.

Um, ok, so that was like totally useful. Much usefuller than other tutorials I've seen. One time I saw a tutorial for beginners in Illustrator and I was all like, perfect. I didn't even understand it.

I'm giving this here tut a fav, cos it's funny and I can UNDERSTAND IT. ::glares at author of un-understandable tutorial::

Yeah, I've done some research and looked at other tutorials out there, but a lot of them expect you to know how to use the tools first! I remember the first time I opened Illustrator....I immediately cloed it and didn't open it again for like, months!

I'm really glad that I was able to help a little - I love doing these tutorials, and I'll be doing lots more...and if you are interested I just uploaded a new installment - check it out!

Thanks for the fav too ^^

Although I'm very used to this basic stuff, when I looked at the tools shown I realized how many of them that I had no idea what they did. Like that x-acto knife tool that makes all the lines that I always have to click "undo" whenever I accidentally hit it. So I'm looking forward to these in the future.
